George Bernard Wilmer was born Dec. 29, 1915 to Edward Theodore and Katherine Mary Veerkamp Wilmer. He died July 30, 1991 and is buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Williams, IA.
Sgt. Wilmer served with the 557 Bomb Squadron with the U.S. Army in World War II.
