John E. Wickham, aviation machinist mate second class, U.S.N.R. has been assigned to duty at the naval air station at Kaneohe, Oahu, T.H. Wickham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Wickham, 4425 Polk Avenue, attended Central High School and before entering the service in February, 1944, he was employed at the army air base here. Before going overseas he was stationed at the naval air station in Seattle, Washington.

John Elbert Wickham was born July 5, 1915 to Aaron and Betty Fannie Merriam Wickham. He died Oct. 7, 1947 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
