Stanley Russell Wells was born Dec. 15, 1922 to Isaac Russell and Lotsy Ellen Brown Wells. He died Dec. 18, 1944 and is buried in Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA. His body was returned from Cambridge, England in 1948.
Sgt. Wells served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 53rd Troop Carrier Squadron, 61st Troop Carrier Group and died in England in the service of his country.
