Randall Goss Walrath was born Aug. 13, 1902 to George Randall and Elizabeth Gertrude ‘Lizzie’ Goss Walrath. He died July 26, 1979 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
Commander Walrath worked in the Bureau of Ships as a Navy Reserve officer an then as a civilian. He went on active duty with the Navy in 1943 and served in England and the Bahamas in World War II. After the war he remained in the Navy Reserves. He returned to active duty in 1950 and was assigned to the Bureau of Ships in Washington, D.C.
