James Allen Totman was born Jan. 20, 1923 to George A. and Nellie Markuson Totman. He died Nov. 4, 1943 and is buried in Grandview Cemetery, Quimby, IA.
Pvt. Totman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died over Fort Richardson, Alaska while in the service of his country.
