Alfred Emmett Thorpe was born Feb. 14, 1910 to Emmett and Susie Thorp. He died Feb. 26, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Pvt. Thorpe served in World War II with the U.S. Army 105th Infantry, 27th Infantry Division and died in the service of his country on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands.
