Pvt. C. Sorensen Back in U. S. for Care of Wounds
Pvt. Clarence M. Sorensen, wounded April 28 while serving on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, has arrived in the United States by plane and is to be sent to a hospital for further treatment.
Pvt. Sorensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Sorensen, 221 S. Westcott Street, was shot by machine gun bullets in the left side and hip, injuring his leg, stomach and abdomen. He entered the army July 21, 1944, and following a furlough last December, was sent overseas. His wife and their daughter live at 4015 Van Buren Street.
