Glenn L. Stutsman was born in 1918 to Charlie E. and Clarissa E. Stutsman. He died Feb. 26, 1944 and is buried in Sharon Center Cemetery, Johnson Co., IA.
Cpl. Stutsman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as an aerial gunner and was one of ten airmen killed when B-17F Flying Fortress #42-3155 lost control and crashed, due to severe icing conditions, ten miles west of Palmer Lake, Colorado, while on a flight from Lowry Field to Clovis A.A.F.
