William Erwin Stump was born Jan. 21, 1924 to Webb and Eula E. Stump. He died July 26, 1945 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Denison, IA.
Lt. Stump served in World War II with the U.S. Army at Carlsbad Army Air Field, Carlsbad, New Mexico and died near the base as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
