Morris Simeon Steinway was born Oct. 28, 1915 to Daniel D. and Sarah Kass Steinway. He died Sept. 13, 1944 and is buried in Jewish Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Lt. Steinway served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 779th Bomb Squadron and died in Italy while in the service of his country.
