Howard Devere “Devere” Stanley was born Jan 17. 1917 to Howard Laverne and Catherine Elscott Stanley. He died Nov. 14, 1942 and is buried in Friends Cemetery, Lynnville, IA.
Pvt. Stanley served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died of Addison’s disease at Station Hospital, Lubbock, TX while in the service of his country.
