Former Sioux City Resident Reported Injured in Action

Staff Sergeant Narcisse D. St. Onge, son of Edward St. Onge, a former Sioux Cityan who now is employed in a west coast war plant, has been wounded in action in the Mediterranean area, according to the war department.

Sergeant St. Onge, nephew of Mrs. Edward Manhold, 1306 Jones Street, attended public schools here and at one time was a Journal-Tribune carrier.

He was a member of the Iowa National Guard which was inducted in the regular army in 1940. He has served in England, Africa, Sicily and Italy. A brother, Donald, also is in the army and was wounded in the Mediterranean area.
