Leroy Vane “Vane” Snorf was born June 23, 1907 to Elton Earl and Esther Mae Hethcot Snorf. He died Jan. 23, 1950 and is buried in Masonic Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. Cpl. Snorf served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Service Group.
