Earl I. Shane was born Mar. 13, 1912 to Oliver and Inez H. Payne Shane. He died Jan. 12, 1971 and is buried in the Chillicothe City Cemetery, Chillicothe, IL.
Earl served with the U.S. Army in World War II as part of the Tank Park Motor Pool Detachment.
