Harlan James Searle was born Mar. 13, 1922 to Ira J. and Agnes C. Olson Searle. He died Apr. 6, 2015.
Harlan served in the National Guard from 1937-1940. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during WWII until his honorable discharge in 1946. Harlan served aboard the USS California (BB-44), USS PC-512, USS SC-643, USS Altair (AD-11), and USS Burke (DD-783) and with Naval Shore Battery #5, Honolulu, Hawaii.
