Michael Joseph Schumacher was born Nov. 15, 1922 to Leonard Henry and Mary Catherine Bradley Schumacher. He died June 1944 and was buried in Saint Marys Catholic Cemetery, Mallard, IA in Nov. of 1948.
Sgt. Schumacher served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA in Germany and became a POW and died in a German POW hospital.
