Richard Schoen Reported Lost In Sea Action
Richard Schoen, son of Nat Schoen, formerly of Sioux City, has been reported lost at sea. He was serving with the merchant marine when killed, sometime in January.
Schoen is survived by a brother, George Schoen of New York, New York and two sisters, Mrs. Ernie Schmid and Mrs. Hugh Mulally of Chicago. He attended St. Boniface School here, moving with his family to Chicago about 10 years ago.
