James C. Schaner, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Schaner, 4408 Grant Street, who recently returned to the States after 20 months in the South Pacific, has been promoted to pharmacist’s mate first class. He now is stationed at the navy recruiting station. Baltimore, Maryland.
