Hubert Lee Ruggles was born Sept. 30, 1922 to Orville Leroy and Rose Sherlock Ruggles. He died Feb. 3, 1944 and is buried in Doggett Cemetery, Keokuk County, IA.
Aviation Cadet Ruggles served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died at Marfa Flying Field, Marfa, TX while in the service of his country.
