Walter Henry Reinig was born Jan. 13, 1918 to Mathias J. and Mary Nollen Reinig. He died Jan. 31, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Sgt. Reinig served in World War II with the U.S. Army 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart.
