Robert J. Reiser Seriously Wounded in German Action
Pfc. Robert J. Reiser was seriously wounded March 25, while serving with the 99th Infantry division of the First Army in Germany, according to a telegram received from the War Department by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Reiser, 1623 Nebraska street.
Pfc. Reiser, formerly employed by the circulation department of The Journal-Tribune, entered the Army December 29, 1943, and was sent overseas last September 1944, where he later participated in the Battle of the Belgium Bulge. He attended Central high school.
