James Emil Prechel was born July 18, 1917 to Albert Julius and Rose Mary Conway Prechel. He died Feb. 17, 1943.
Lt. Prechel was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force and lost his life while on active duty at Hunter Field, Savannah, GA.
