Raymond Earl Peterson was born Nov. 1, 1925 to James O. and Bessie Alta Betts Peterson. He died Aug. 31, 1948 and is buried in Zoar Cemetery, Cainsville, MO.
Pvt. Peterson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 83rd Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop, 83rd Infantry Division.
