In Marine Corps
“Bob” Paul, Sioux City athlete, now is Private Robert E. Paul, United States Marine Corps. Bob, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Paul, 4220 Central Street, was captain of the basketball team and a member of the football team at Leeds High School, and is now a member of the Marine Corps stationed at San Diego, California.

Marine Cpl. Robert E. Paul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur V. Paul, 4220 Central Avenue, has returned to this country after spending the last 18 months overseas at New Caledonia, New Guinea, Guadalcanal, and the Russell, Philippine and Marshall Islands.
