List Iowans As Missing.
WATERLOO, IA.—Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Parkes, Waterloo, received word Monday that their son, Pvt. Marvin Parkes, 19, was reported missing in action in North Africa. Private Parkes, after being wounded last November in North Africa, was awarded the purple heart medal.
