William H. Oster was born Nov. 6, 1911 to John and Bessie Oster. He died Aug. 13, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery, Saint James, France.
Pvt. Oster served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and died of wounds received in action in France while serving his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
