Clarence Melvin “Bud” Ober was born July 21, 1918 to Carl E. and Nellie F. Kent Ober. He died May 5, 2002 and is buried in Lawn Hill Cemetery, Stanhope, IA.
Sgt. Ober served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a supply clerk with an anti-aircraft division.
