Eugene J. C. O’Neill was born July 22, 1914 to Eugene John and Pauline Elizabeth Stahl O’Neill. He died June 20, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Capt. O’Neill served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 782nd Bomber Squadron, 465th Bomber Group, Heavy and died in Naples, Italy in an airplane crash and was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
