John Clifford Norman was born Feb. 4, 1916 to John Henry and Maud Wood Norman. He died Sept. 9, 1944 and is buried in Paton Cemetery, Paton, IA and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 7, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii
Lt. Norman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 54th Troop Carrier Squadron and was MIA/KIA while serving his country.
