Our Neighbors in the Service
Battle Creek, Iowa – Private Knud J.H. Nielsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Nielsen of Battle Creek, stationed at the army air forces bombardier school at Big Spring, Texas, has been promoted to technician, fifth grade. Nilsen was educated in Denmark, where he received awards in swimming and ice skating.
