Harold Hansen Nelson was born Apr. 30, 1918 to Martin and Anna M. Hansen Nelson. He died Feb. 22, 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Dinoze, France.
1st Lt. Nelson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 275th Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion, 70th Infantry Division. He was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.
