Raymond Andrew Minott was born Feb. 23, 1917 to A. W. and Marguerite Dixon Minott. He died June 8, 1945 and is buried in Ames Municipal Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Lt. Minott served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 485th Fighter Squadron, 370th Fighter Group and died in Bielefeld, Germany in an airplane accident.
