Clement Christian Messerli was born Oct. 17, 1919 to Christian Clement and Naydia O’Halloran Messerli. He died Mar. 31, 1943 and is buried in the North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia and has a cenotaph in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Wadena, IA.
Pvt. Messerli served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was KIA.
