Wayne Dewey McGavran was born Jan. 24, 1920 to Charles Earl and Beatrice Winger McGavran. He died July 11, 1944 and is buried in South Lawn Cemetery, Seymour, IA.
Sgt. McGavran served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died from injuries from an airplane crash while serving his country.
