David Clark McEwen was born Sept. 30, 1922 to Dwight Virgil and Hazel A. Chamberlain McEwen. He died Sept. 8, 2003 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
Cpl. McEwen was wounded in action on Saipan and was awarded the Purple Heart.
