Frank J. and Bertha Luhe McConnell had three sons serving their country in World War II: Lawrence E. McConnell, Luhe Frank McConnell, and Frederick James McConnell.
Luhe Frank McConnell was born April 26, 1916. He died Feb. 5, 1990 and is buried in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, ME.
Chief Boatswain’s Mate McConnell served with the U.S. Navy in World War iI and Korea.
