Wall Lake, Iowa – Lynn McClurg, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McClurg, now of Pierson, Iowa arrived Sunday and will be inducted into the army air corps May 7 at Sac City. He has been employed at the North American aircraft factory in Inglewood, Cal., the past year and a half.

Lynn Herrig McClurg was born Dec. 8, 1922 to Lynn H. (Sr.) and Helma Moat McClurg. He died Nov. 18, 1944 and is buried in Wall Lake Cemetery, Sac County, IA.
Cpl. McClurg served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died on a training flight near Tampa, FL.
