Homer Leslie Lund was born Oct. 27, 1918 to Nick and Josie Jarshaw Lund. He died Apr. 25, 1945 and is buried in Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City, IA.
Capt. Lund served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 672nd Bomb Squadron and died in an airplane crash on Luzon, Philippine Islands while serving his country.
