Last stationed in North Africa, he is a nephew of Mrs. James W. Pyle, 1419 Grandview Boulevard, with whom he resided here. Sergeant Lorenzen, who is married, had lived in Atlantic, Iowa. There he was graduated from high school.

Raymond Harrison Lorenzen was born Feb. 3, 1917 to Helmuth and Florence Stillion Lorenzen. He died June 27, 1984 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
Sgt. Lorenzen served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was a German POW.
