William Pearl Letze was born Mar. 30, 1916 to William Michael and Edna Pearl Woodyard Letze. He died Apr. 15, 1945 and is buried in Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.
Pvt. Letze served in World War II with the U.S. Army 85th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division and was KIA in Italy in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
