Richard Victor Leland was born Mar. 29, 1921 to U.S. and Elfrida Leland. He died Feb. 12, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 7, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Cpl. Leland served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 39th Bomber Squadron, 6th Bomber Group, Very Heavy and was MIA/KIA in the Pacific Theatre and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
