Clayton Frederick Koonce was born Feb. 13, 1913 to Emery F. and Leonora E. Koonce. He died July 11, 2000 and is buried in Gosport Cemetery, Gosport, IA.
Pvt. Koonce served with the U. S. Army in World War II with Co. B, 36th Replacement Battalion.
