Harold K. Knight was born June 6, 1922 to Harry Hazleton and Jessie Kite Knight. He died Mar. 29, 1945 and is buried in Iowa State University Cemetery, Ames, IA.
Lt. Knight served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 541st Parachute Infantry Regiment and died in Camp Mackall, North Carolina while in the service of his country.
