MEN and WOMEN in SERVICE.
Harry Karolick, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Karolick, 901 Pacific Street, has been promoted to first sergeant of the boat company to which he is attached. He is stationed at Quarry Heights, Canal Zone. A graduate of Central High school, he entered the service May 29, 1942, and arrived in the Caribbean area July 15, 1942.
