Warren E. Jorgenson was born Dec. 10, 1919 to Felix Ransome and Wilma Juanita Allvin LeMoine. She later was divorced and married Stuart M. Jorgenson. Warren changed his name to that of his step-father (Jorgenson). He died May 1, 1971 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Cpl. Jorgenson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and became a Japanese POW.
