IN UNIFORM
LeRoy H. Jones, fireman second class, whose wife lives at 826 17th Street, is serving aboard a light cruiser in the western Pacific. His ship has seen action at Pearl Harbor in the Marshalls and the Gilberts, Guadalcanal, the New Georgia’s, Treasury-Bougainville and Bismarck archipelago operations and the Aleutians, Marianas, Philippines liberation and Ryukyus campaigns.
