IN UNIFORM
Sgt. Vernord L. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson, 700 S. Linn Street, who was wounded in the invasion of France, is now at a hospital in England. His brother Sherwood, techninician fourth grade, who is stationed in England visited him recently and reported that he is “improving nicely.” Both boys were mail carriers here prior to entrance into service.
