Donald Coats ‘Pat' Isham was born Jan. 8, 1913 to Ray D. and Frances M. Isham. He died Dec. 7, 1968 and is buried in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Clarion, IA.
Cpl. Isham served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 549th AAA AW Battalion.

Isham Rites on Tuesday
Donald C. (Pat) Isham, 55, a former Webster City resident, died Saturday afternoon at his home in Albert Lea, Minn. He had been in ill health for several years.
Funeral mass will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Bonnerup Funeral home in Albert Lea. The body will be brought to Webster City, and friends may call at the Foster Funeral home from 7 a.m. to10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with the Rev. Father B. G. Collins officiating and with burial in St. Joseph’s cemetery southwest of Clarion.
Donald C. Isham, son of Ray D. and Frances Coates Isham, was born Jan. 8, 1913, at Webster City. He attended the rural schools in Cass township and was later graduated from Webster City high school.
He was united in marriage July 10, 1939 to Dolores Adams, and the couple made their home in Webster City where Mr. Isham was in partnership with Morris Westervelt when they owned and operated the Hub Clothing store. He entered the U.S. Army April 24, 1943, and served during World War Ii in the European theater.
Following his discharge from the service Jan. 21, 1946, he returned to Webster City and was employed for several years in the sales department of the former Beam Mfg. Co. In 1955, the family moved to Albert Lea, Minn. where Mr. Isham was employed in the appliance department of the National Cooperatives.
He is survived by his wife; one son and two daughters, Polly Isham, Mrs Isham and Ann Isham, all of Albert Lea; his mother, Mrs. Ray Isham of Webster City; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Alyce) Singer, Mrs. William (Hazel) Nott, Sr., and Mrs. Laura Foster, all of Webster City, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oct. 14, 1967, by one daughter, Mary Pat, who died in infancy, and two sisters.
Mr. Isham was a member of the St. Theodore’s Catholic church at Albert Lea. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
