Earl A. Hurd was born June 28, 1914 to John Elmer and Iva R. Claypool Hurd. He died Dec. 2, 1942 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Pvt. Hurd served in World War II with the U.S. Army Battery I, 60th Coast Artillery Regiment and died while in the service of his country.
