Alfred H. Howard, seaman first class in the navy, has returned to his ship at Philadelphia after spending a nine-day leave with his wife, Mrs. Mary Howard of 315 East Fourth street, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Howard. Seaman Howard has just returned from Casablanca, where he met a friend from home. C. S. Tyree, electrician’s mate first class, who is stationed there in a naval construction battalion.

Alfred H. Howard, S1/c, left Tuesday for New York after spending 30 days here with his wife, Mary, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Howard, 317 Evergreen street. He has served 28 months in the Atlantic. His wife accompanied him to New York and will stay until he returns to sea duty.
